EC tennis drops pair to Georgetown, CNE

The East Clinton tennis team lost a pair of SBAAC National Division matches Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Astros lost to Georgetown and Clermont Northeastern by identical 4-1 scores.

“These were tough losses for the team because there were moments where I thought we could have pulled out the win to give us a confidence boost,” EC coach Doug Stehlin said.

Jenna Stanley and Emmy Chambers had the only EC win against Georgetown while Stephanie Lambert and Kenton Deaton won by forfeit against CNE.
