The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams split matches with Bethel-Tate Thursday night.
The eighth grade won in two sets. Coach Brianna Gillis said all 12 players contributed to the win. The team’s serves, passes, set and attacks were well executed, the coach said.
The seventh grade was defeated in two sets. Coach Gillis said Blanchester played well in the first set. Katelyn Hinkle served well for Blanchester. Aby Vance played good defense. The team is improving, the coach added.
