WILMINGTON — With a fast start, Wilmington cruised to a 25-7, 25-18, 25-15 win over Felicity Thursday in a non-league volleyball match at Fred Summers Court.

The Hurricane is 7-2. Wilmington won seven matches all of last season.

The Cardinals are 1-4.

Brynn Bryant had 11 kills, 13 assists, an ace and five digs. Maliyah Burris finished with a kill while Ashley Delph had a kill and a dig. Banesa Morales had four kills, an assist, two aces and seven digs.

Caroline Diels recorded eight kills, 15 assists, four aces and seven digs. Sydney McCord had two kills, an ace, a dig and a block Lexi McKee-Cole finished with five digs. Kayla O’Dell had an assist and a dig.

Lexus Reiley posted a kill and a dig. Jena Rhoads led with 12 digs to go along with two assists and an ace. Lisbon Smith contributed five kills, three services aces and seven digs.
