Beam, Myers lead CMMS runners at Friendship

CEDARVILLE — The Clinton-Massie Middle School cross country teams competed Saturday in the Friendship Invitational at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course at Cedarville University.

In the girls race, Clinton-Massie had two top 20 finishers and placed 13th out of 16 teams.

Malea Beam was 12th in 14:13 and Hailey Myers finished 19th in 14:26. There were 203 runners in the girls race.

Georgia Black ran a personal best 16:32 while Alyssa Shockley finished in 20:11, Shelby Robinson in 21:30 and Allyson Wilson in 25:00.

On the boys side, the Falcons were 18th as a team. There were 274 runners.

Bryson Geyer ran 14:11 and placed 74th. Danny Mefford ran 14:25, Trent Bennett 14:26, Jonny Gunn 14:49 and Mack Hensley 16:05.
