LEES CREEK — East Clinton defeated Whiteoak 25-11, 25-16, 25-18 on middle school volleyball recognition night at the EC gym.

East Clinton’s seventh and eighth grade teams were honored prior to the varsity match.

The coaches are Lorrie Arnold and Sara Shaner. Eighth grade players are Emily Arnold, Josi Balon, Haley Carroll, Kaylin Childers, Karsyn Jamison, Rhielynn Lightle, Colie Murarescu, Keira Null and Abigail Prater. Seventh grade players are Ryleigh Burns, Paiton Kidder, Kimberly Millan, Cali Mossbarger, Madison Roberts, Shaylee Slagle, Taylynn Spurlock, Sahara Tate, Kaylee Terrell, Tessa Terrell, Tysen Terrell and Crystina Wisecup.

For the varsity match, Lauren Runyon had 10 kills at the net. Kelsi Lilly finished with seven aces, seven kills, three assists and five digs. Jordan Collom contributed an ace and two digs while Kami Whiteaker chipped in two kills and one dig. Lydia Kessler had an ace and three digs. Trinity Bain had two aces and three digs.

McKenzie Pence had two kills, an assist and three digs. Libby Evanshine had 16 kills, 10 assists and seven digs in the win. Anna Malone had a kill, an assist and a dig. Savannah Tolle recorded an ace, two assists and 11 digs. Megan Tong had four aces, a kill, 17 assists and two digs. Jozie Jones had a kill.
