Angel Care Open

Sept. 16 at Majestic

The 12th annual Community Care Hospice Angel Care Open golf tournament will be held Sept. 16 at Majestic Springs Golf Club.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit CCH patients who are uninsured.

If registered and paid prior to Aug. 3, cost is $75 per player. After Aug. 3, cost is $100 per player. Fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, field events, a raffle and awards. There will be long putt and driving contests as well as a closest to the pin challenge. A split the pot raffle also will be held at the event.

Registration and breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. with a shotgun start set to begin at 9 a.m.

The tournament format is a four-person scramble.

Corporate level and hole sponsorships also are available.

7-under 28 wins

senior outing at Elks

The team of David Doyle, Pete Fentress and Jim Luck had a 7-under par 28 Tuesday and won the Senior Golf League outing at the Elks 797 Golf Course.

The winners eagled No. 2 and carded birdies on Nos. 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
