CM girls golfers take down Lady Tigers

GREENFIELD — After a tough loss to Hillsboro on Monday, the Clinton-Massie girls golf team bounced back with a 25-shot win over McClain Tuesday at Buckeye Hills Country Club.

With Gabby Woods posting a 3-over 39, the Lady Falcons were victorious 203 to 228 in South Central Ohio League action.

Coach Tim McGraw said he was proud of his team for their effort on Tuesday.

“This was a nice bounce back win for us after a tough loss to Hillsboro the night before,” he said. “Emma Filipkowski played very well for us.”

Filipkowski had a 55 for CMHS while Angela Miller shot a 53 and Taylor Kropp had a 56.

Playing but not scoring for the Lady Falcons, Kelsey Smith with 59 and Jezreel Forand with 60.
