Meet the Team

at CM Friday night

Clinton-Massie’s annual Meet the Team will be held Friday at Frank Irelan Field.

The gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $5 per person to enter with $3 going to the Clinton-Massie Athletic Department and $2 going to the family of former Falcon Chayse Wolf, who is rehabbing from an ATV crash this summer.

At 5 p.m., an inter-squad scrimmage involving the high school soccer teams will be held.

At 5:45 p.m., elementary, middle school and high school fall athletic teams will be introduced.

The Clinton-Massie varsity football team will scrimmage Canal Winchester beginning at 7 p.m. with the Falcons’ marching band set to perform at halftime.

The concession stand will be open throughout the event.

Passes will not be accepted at this event but reserved seats will be honored, according to CM athletic director Cindy Running.


14u Sluggers to hold

tryouts Saturday at CM

The Clinton County Sluggers 14u baseball team will be holding tryouts 3 p.m. Saturday at Paul Schwamberger Field (varsity baseball diamond) on the Clinton-Massie High School campus.

The tryouts are for the 2016 season. The team will play in the 14u MWOL select league.

To be eligible, players must not turn 15 before May 1, 2016.

The team is looking for highly motivated, dedicated baseball players at all positions.
