The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams split matches with Batavia Thursday night.

The eighth grade squad posted a 25-13, 25-20 win.

Casey Kingsland had 12 points, seven aces, a kill and four assists. Lana Roy had seven points, two aces and three assists. Noelani Tongonan had six points, two aces, three kills and an assist. Destiny Waldron had three aces and a kill. Madison Well chipped in with three points and two kills. Caili Baumann had an ace and four kills.

The seventh grade was defeated 22-25, 4-25.

Taylor Combs had six points, two aces and a kill. Madison Coyle contributed three points. Makenna Maddix had two points and a kill. Rianna Mueller and Madison Creager both had one ace.
