Band0w, Blanchester win JH race at East Clinton

LEES CREEK — Blanchester won the East Clinton Junior High School Cross Country Invitational Wednesday on the EC campus.

Wildcat runner Brett Bandow was first overall among 31 runners, clocking a 13:46.

Blanchester finished with 31 points while Clermont Northeastern was second with 44 and East Clinton third with 50. The meet was contested with both boys and girls on the course at the same time, competing in a co-ed format.

Trent Garen was the first EC boys runner to finish, placing 5th in 14:41. Carah Anteck was the first East Clinton runner to cross the line, finishing 12th in 16:16.

For Blanchester, Kenzie Kratzer was the first female to finish. She was 20th in 17:39.
