The team of Joseph Lewis, Chuck Howard, Brad Howard and Ryan Briggs won the second annual Ken Briggs Memorial Golf Tournament Aug. 1 at Majestic Springs Golf Course.

There were 86 players in the field.

Following the event, awards were presented on the picnic patio with Jeskee Zantene and Clayton Morgan sharing long drive honors; and Chuck Howard and Jeremy McGraw winning the closest to the pin award.

The proceeds from this year’s tournament will be given to the Sabina United Methodist Church. Modern Woodmen of America matched the proceeds from the golf outing.

Those who supported the event were Premier Solutions, Accurate Soils, Phil and Vicki Snow, Collett Farms, Rose Excavating, Rich’s Pool Service, Haines Agency, Howard Roofing Consultants, ASC Warranty, McGraw Brothers Lawn Care, Cincinnati Milacron (Pete and Carol Fentress), the Uhl family, Edward Jones (Mat Greene), the East Clinton basketball team of 2008, Bill and Mary K. Howard, Sams Meats and Deli, Luttrell Trucking and Oak View Farms.
