Bryan Habick has been hired as the second men’s lacrosse coach in Wilmington College history.

Habick comes to Wilmington after serving as an assistant coach at Washington & Jefferson College. He also spent a season as the assistant coach at Capital University.

“Bryan brings a passion for the sport of lacrosse, coaching and recruiting that will enable the program to continue the growth it has taken over the last four seasons,” said Wilmington College vice president for Athletic Administration Terry Rupert. “We are thrilled to have Bryan take over the men’s lacrosse program and excited for the continued development of the players.”

During his time with the Crusaders, Habick was the lead recruiter for five of the 14 commits, and coached eight all-Ohio Athletic Conference selections. He worked primarily with the midfielders and long stick midfielders as the assistant defensive coordinator with Capital as CU claimed the 2015 OAC Championship.

Habick graduated from Utica, where he was a defenseman, long stick midfielder and midfielder for the Pioneers.

Wilmington is slated to kick off the season by hosting LaRoche on March 4.
