Junior quarterback Luke Creditt accounted for 90 percent of Wilmington College’s offense as the Fightin’ Quakers lost to Heidelberg, 59-3, Saturday in Ohio Athletic Conference action at Townsend Field in Williams Stadium.

“He is the most important guy on offense because he has the ball every single time,” said Wilmington head coach Stacey Hairston. “He fights hard. We have to do a better job of protecting him and when he does deliver the ball, our receivers have to catch the ball.”

Creditt was 14-of-25 for 111 yards and 56 yards rushing on 13 carries. Ten different players recorded a catch as junior Tim Murphy led the team with four catches for 40 yards.

Freshman Marcus Tyler added three receptions for 28 yards, his first three career catches.
