EC reserve volleyball beats ’Boro

LEES CREEK — The East Clinton reserve volleyball team defeated Hillsboro 25-15, 25-21 Tuesday night in a South Central Ohio League match.

“They played as a team and stayed positive the entire match,” said coach Hannah Wilson. “We had great hitting, with Megan Stewart leading the way. That really put us over the top against a super competitive Hillsboro team.”

Stewart finished with a point, five kills and a block. Emily Tong had an ace. Lacey Peterman had a point and a dig. Taylor Boeckman had seven aces, five digs and 10 total points.

Victoria Jamison had a kill and a block. Logan Peterman had three aces, five points, seven assists and a kill. Marah Dunn and Grace Cooper had two digs each.

Miranda Been had two digs and Rayne Martinez chipped in with one dig. Kaitlyn Talbort had four aces and six service points.
