The Blanchester Wildcats won the Clermont County Youth Football League 7-year-old championship over Goshen, 30-6.

The championship was the second straight for this team, which won the 5-6 year old title last year by defeating Batavia in the championship game.

The young Wildcats, coached by Josh Krekeler, finished the season 11-1. Goshen is 9-3. Blanchester has been practicing since the late July.

The two teams were tied 6-6 in the first quarter but then Blanchester score 24 unanswered points to claim the 30-6 win.

Aside from the finalists, the CCYFL consists of teams from Western Brown, West Clermont Little Miami Gold, Little Miami Green, Forest Hills, Bethel, Clermont Northeastern, Batavia and New Richmond.
