Behind a strong second half effort, the Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team defeated Georgetown 37-27 Wednesday night.

Blake Coffman had 12 points and 10 rebounds as Blanchester raised its record to 3-6.

Seth Akers had 11 points and 4 asists while Gabe McVey had 5 points and 6 rebounds. Jacob Hamm had 3 points and 6 steals. Bryce Bandow, Jackson Bray and Justin Hogsett had 2 points each.
