Becky VanPelt honored at Takedown Cancer event at WHS

Becky VanPelt was the honoree Thursday at Wilmington High School’s Takedown Cancer event at Fred Summers Court. Becky, who passed away in March 2013, was a WHS graduate and employed by the school district for many years as an education and a coach. Previous honorees at the Takedown Cancer event at WHS are Jeff Wiederhold, Travis Hibbs, Gary VanPelt, Marie Smith and Steve Murphy.
