The East Clinton eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Rodger O. Borror 47-35 Monday night.

Branson Smith led the young Astros (7-3 on the year) with 20 points.

Dylan Peterman tossed in 13 points and Kent Davis chipped in with 4 points.

Coach Eli Hogsett said his squad played excellent defense and rebounded exceptionally well in the “great team win.”
