The Blanchester seventh grade girls basketball team was defeated by Batavia Monday 27-15.

Zoie Stanforth had 9 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals to lead Blanchester.

Maddie Creager had 2 points, 3 rebounds and a steal. Lacie Tedrick tossed in 2 points and grabbed a rebound. Rianna Mueller also had a rebound.

Taylor Combs had a point, a steal and 2 blocked shots. Madison Ogden came up with a steal and Kenzie Kratzer pulled down 2 rebounds. Daelyn Staehling had a point and 9 rebounds for coach Bella Cook’s Ladycats.
