The Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team was defeated by Bethel-Tate 27-18 Tuesday night.

Seth Akers had 8 points and Blake Coffman added 6 points and 7 rebounds for the young Wildcats, now 3-8 on the season.

Jackson Bray and Justin Hogsett had 2 points and 6 rebounds each. Brett Bandow pulled down 5 rebounds. Jacob Hamm came up with 3 steals and Gabe McVey handed out 2 assists.
