BLANCHESTER — A strong second quarter and clutch free throw shooting propelled Blanchester’s reserve boys basketball team to a 42-29 win over West Union Tuesday night at Blanchester High School.
Blanchester outscored West Union 11-5 in the second and closed the game by making 12 fourth quarter free throws.
Eric Patton led Blanchester with 14 points. Brant Bandow added 11 points. Cody McCollister scored five points. Nevan Coyle chipped in four points. Cole Feirl, Preston Griffin, Chase Sturgill and Jacob Fischer had two points each.
