LEES CREEK — The East Clinton wrestling team finished second Friday at the East Clinton Duals tournament at the EC gym.

The Astros defeated Roger Bacon 48-18, North College Hill 53-12 and Greenon 36-18 but lost to Indian Hill 41-18.

Thomas Wright and Noah Morgan both went 4-0. Morgan recorded his 84th career win which is a new school record.

On the mat wins for EC against Roger Bacon were recorded by Matt Horn at 126 (1:02), Noah Morgan at 145 (0:55), John Cline at 170 (5:06), DJ Perry at 182 (1:10);

Against Indian Hill, Brayden Esposito at 106 (7-3), Noah Morgan at 152 (3-2 UTB), Thomas Wright at 160 (0:34), Christian Stone at 220 (0:34);

Against North College Hill, Matt Horn at 126 (2:00), Noah Morgan at 152 (5:01), Thomas Wright at 160 (19-4 at 4:29;

And against Greenon, Esposito at 106 (2:39), Wright at 170 (1:07) and Stone at 285 (1:09).
