The Blanchester junior varsity baseball team was defeated by Clermont Northeastern 6-1 at CNE.

Preston Griffith had two hits and scored a run for the Wildcats. Eric Patton had a hit and drove in a run. Mason Rector also had two hits for Andrew Freeman’s BHS squad.

“We could not put many hits together and consequently did not have many chances to score runs,” Freeman said. “Our three pitchers gave us a good effort on the mound and kept us in the game the whole way. Defensively we also played pretty sound.”
