The Wilmington High School junior varsity softball team defeated McClain 20-4 Wednesday in South Central Ohio League action at WHS.

Kaylee Tackett went the distance on the mound for the win. She struck out eight and walked one.

Logan Osbourne had three hits, drew a walk and was hit by a pitch. She scored all five times she reached base.

Emily Spendlove had two hits, walked twice and scored three runs.

“All in all, a great game and a huge improvement over Saturday,” coach Pete Brown.
