ADAMS TOWNSHIP — With seven first-place finishes, the Clinton-Massie boys track and field team won the Clinton-Massie Relays Monday night at Chick Brown Track.

The Falcons finished with 102 points. The Falcons won the shot put, long jump, high jump, shuttle hurdles, 4×400, 4×800 and 4×100 relays.

East Clinton was fifth with 43 points.

“Very proud of the hard work and dedication shown by the entire team,” EC coach Steven Sodini said. “Everyone worked hard despite the rain (coming in late in the meet).”

The Astros won the discus competition with Thomas Wright and Brendan Walters.

“Both young men had great throws,” Sodini said.

Wright’s best throw was 120-7, which was “the best throw of the evening,” Sodini said.
