BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester High School baseball team had a pair of four-run innings Wednesday in a 13-3 win over Georgetown in Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference National Division action at Bott Field on the BHS campus.
The Wildcats are now 3-2 overall and 3-0 in the National Division.
Robert Rausch was the winning pitcher, throwing 46 pitches with 32 for strikes.
Dustin Howard had two hits and drove in two runs. Brant Bandow drove in three runs. Gavin Creighton led off the Blanchester first with a homerun. Jack Davidson also homered.
“Tonight was a much better played game all around for us,” BHS coach Aaron Lawson said. “We got ahead of hitters, made plays behind (the pitchers), hit and drove runners in. We need to roll this type of play over into Friday versus New Richmond.”
