LEES CREEK — An unearned run proved to be the difference Saturday as Southeastern defeated East Clinton 1-0 in a non-league softball game at ECHS.

The two teams played scoreless ball through five innings but the Lady Trojans pushed across a run in the sixth.

“We bobbled the ball and they took advantage of the opportunity,” said EC coach Matthew Zimmerman. “We need to keep playing at this level and work on the adjustments at the plate.”

East Clinton (4-2 on the year) had three hits, two by Tori Bailey. Mackenzie Campbell and Bailey had doubles in the game for East Clinton.
