Falcons blank Blanchester in JV baseball 3-0

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie reserve baseball team defeated Blanchester 3-0 Wednesday at Paul Schwamberger Field.

Dominic Kerns went the distance on the mound for the Falcons, striking out five and allowing six hits.

Jacob Fischer took the loss for the Wildcats. He pitched six innings and allowed six hits, while striking out one.

Seth Goodall had a sacrifice that scored Caleb Criswell to give CM a 1-0 lead in the third.

In the bottom of the sixth, Goodall and Tyler Beam reached on singles. Bryan Kennedy walked to load the bases. Corey May plated a run with a sac fly to right then Spencer Branham drove in the final run with a sacrifice.

Tyler Lewis had a sacrifice and May finished with two sacrifices.

Chris Farrow had two hits for Blanchester while Eric Patton, Justin Ballard, Levi Mobley and Christian Stubbs had one hit each.
