BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester Middle School boys track and field team finished fourth Thursday at the Blanchester Middle School Invitational at the Barbour Memorial Field track complex.

East Clinton was eighth in the meet. The top finish for the Astros was by Van Frye, who was runnerup in the 800-meter run.

The 4×100-meter relay team of Carter Stevens, Shane Smith, Blake Richard and Brady Phillips garnered the lone first for the young Wildcats.
