WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE – Jacksson Waialae pitched a two-hitter and struck out 11 as Blanchester defeated Washington 6-0 Wednesday in a non-league baseball game at the Washington Senior field.

The Wildcats are 13-8 on the year.

“Jacksson was in command of all his pitches tonight,” BHS coach Aaron Lawson said. “All his pitches were working and he was getting ahead of hitters. In the fifth inning jacksson had the bases loaded with zero outs and ended up striking out the side.”

Jared Monhollen, a BHS senior, went 3-for-4 on the night and is now tied for the all-time career hits record at Blanchester High School with 97.
