CMMS volleyball splits two

The Clinton-Massie Middle School volleyball teams split matches Tuesday with East Clinton.

The seventh grade Lady Falcons were defeated 21-25, 19-25.

The CM eighth grade defeated East Clinton 25-23, 25-14.

Kendall Anderson played “an amazing game” coach Aubrey Hoffman said. Anderson had two key digs in the back row and was a consistent hitter in the front row for the Lady Falcons.

Carley Moritz had eight points, five coming on aces, as well as two kills and four assists. Rylee Richardson had two aces, a kill and an assist. Patience Chowning had an ace and played well all-ar0und, Hoffman said.

Clinton-Massie is now 7-2 overall an 6-1 against South Central Ohio League teams.
