Massie reserve baseball whips Warriors 21-0

The Clinton-Massie reserve baseball team defeated Goshen 21-0 Wednesday behind the shut-out pitching of Corey May.

May went six innings and posted 12 strikeouts. He walked one and gave up two hits. This was May’s third shutout of the season.

Tyler Lewis, Seth Goodall and Tyler Beam had three hits each for the Falcons. May and Luke Chappie had two hits each while Clint Stotts, Gavin Gragg, Nolan Pringnitz and Bryan Kennedy had one hit each.

On Tuesday, Massie was edged by Milford 8-7. The Falcons led 7-2 going into the bottom of the seventh inning.

Chappie pitching into the seventh and was relieved by Kennedy. Chappie struck out three.

Goodall, Beam and Kennedy had two hits each. Spencer Branham also had a hit.

On Monday, Clinton-Massie defeated East Clinton 15-1.

Josh Merkle and Dominic Kerns combined their efforts on the pitching mound for the Falcons.

Lewis, Goodall, Kennedy and Stotts had two hits each. Beam, May, Gragg, Pringnitz, Branham, Kerns and Chappie also had hits for the CM reserve squad.
