HAMILTON — State-ranked Hamilton Badin defeated East Clinton 5-1 Wednesday in a Division III sectional softball game at Joyce Park.

The Lady Astros end their season with an 11-11 record. Badin, ranked No. 7 in this week’s Div. III state poll, continues in the tournament.

Taylor Boeckmann had three hits. Sierra Christian pitched well, allowing five hits. She did not walk a batter.
