HILLSBORO — The East Clinton volleyball team dropped a 25-19, 25-16, 25-18 match to Hillsboro in South Central Ohio League action in the HHS gym.

“The girls played well but couldn’t finish plays and score points,” said EC coach Sarah Sodini. “Kate Durbin and Sam Bronson had great games.”

Durbin had six kills, eight blocks and four digs. Bronson had two aces and five digs.

Also, Mindy Bean had an ace, six kills and five digs. Sam Gaddis had 14 assists, a block and six digs. Taylor Spence contributed an ace and five digs. Alexis Haines had two aces and eight digs. Paige Lilly recorded a kill and six digs. Kenzie Campbell had four kills and four blocks at the net.
