ROB girls 5th, boys 7th at Friendship Inv.

CEDARVILLE — The Rodger O. Borror Middle School boys and girls cross country teams had top-10 finishes Saturday at the Friendship CC Invitational at Cedarville University.

The ROB girls were fifth while the boys placed seventh in the team standings.

For the girls, Sophie Burt had a season-best of 14:07 and finished 22nd. Kara Pratt ran 14:51 and was 39th while teammate Sami McCord ran 14:51 and was 40th. Josie Nichols was 50th in a season-best 15:03. Shannon O’Boyle was 108th in a personal best 16:54.

For the boys, Calvin Walls was 20th in a season-best 12:27. Sam Eastes was 36th in a season-best 12:54 and Ben Baylor was 49th in a personal best 13:23. Aiden Hester was 52nd in 13:30 and Cameron Combs was 66th in 13:44. Nick McCabe ran 14:07 and finished 79th. Isaiah Billingsley was 113th in a season-best 15:14. Joey Marsh was 172nd in a personal best 25:05.
