LEESBURG — Scoring all seven goals in the first half, the Blanchester boys soccer team defeated Fairfield 7-1 here Monday in a non-league match on the FHS pitch.

Logan Swinderman, Dade Coyle and Topher Farrow had two goals each for BHS. Sam Schafer added one goal.

Schafer had two assists as did Jacob Burden. Nevan Coyle, Dade Coyle and Swinderman had one assist each.

Dakota Penquite, the BHS goalkeeper, “didn’t see much action with only a few touches thanks to the defense led by Daulton Stevens and Eli McEntire,” BHS coach Troy Ballinger said.
