LEES CREEK — The East Clinton reserve and freshman volleyball teams lost matches to Washington Senior Thursday at the EC gym.

The JV squad was defeated 16-25, 20-25.

Avary Beatty had an ace, a kill and seven digs. Carrie Pickering had an assist and two digs. Victoria Jamison had two kills and a block. Logan Peterman had seven assists and four digs.

Marah Dunn had a dig while Lacey Peterman contributed two kills and four digs. Megan Stewart had an ace, a dig and four kills. Taylor Boeckmann had eight digs. Kaitlyn Talbott had an ace, a kill and three digs.

The freshman Lady Astros lost 23-25, 16-25.

“The first set was our game to win, leading most of it, but we let the other team back in the game and they took over the momentum,” said coach Hannah Wilson.
