Lady ’Cane tennis notches first SBAAC victory

NEW RICHMOND — The Wilmington High School tennis team earned its first Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference American Division win Thursday with a 3-2 win over New Richmond.

Wilmington is now 2-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.

Allie Kees and Sophie Reed topped the win chart with singles victories while the doubles pairing of Emma Schroeder and Brooklyn Nielsen were winners at first doubles.
