WILMINGTON — Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School girls cross country team had the highest finish among county schools Saturday at the Finishtiming.com XC Invitational middle school races at Wilmington College.
The young Lady Hurricane were eighth overall. Sophie Huffman had the top finish among individuals, finishing fifth out of 224 runners in 13:11.7.
East Clinton’s Carah Antek was the next county runner to hit the line, placing 25th in 14:14.9. Maddie Spiewak of Clinton-Massie was 43rd in 14:54.4. Blanchester did not have a runner in the girls race.
On the boys side, Borror had a complete team and was 12th overall.
Trevor Billingsley was 29th for ROB in 12:42.7.
Braydon Green of CMMS was 33rd in 12:47.3. Brett Bandow was the top Blanchester runner, finishing 38th in 13:01.3. Justin Arnold ran 13:59.4 and was 85th overall for East Clinton.
