Massie holds off Wilmington in SBC volleyball

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie volleyball defeated Wilmington in four sets Tuesday, 25-21, 25-14, 18-25, 25-10, in a Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference American Division match at the Lebanon Road gym.

Massie is now 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the American Division. Wilmington falls to 0-5 overall and 0-1 in the American.

“I think the girls had a lot of jitters with it being the home opener,” CM coach Stephanie Reveal said. “The last set I think they executed everything very well.”

Taylor Florea had 16 points, nine kills and a block. Tyler Greathouse had 13 points and eight kills. Rylee Richardson had eight kills. Faith Cottrell chipped in with five kills and two points.

Cadin Reveal also had five kills and added 13 points. Haley Conley led with 26 set assists. She also had eight points and two kills.

Maddie Enright served four points and came up with six digs. Ashlie Miller contributed three points and four digs.
