MT. ORAB — In a battle of American Division unbeatens, Western Brown defeated Wilmington 1-0 Tuesday in Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference boys soccer action.

Wilmington is now 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the American Division. The Broncos are 4-0 overall, 2-0 in the conference.

“Both teams played well but unfortunately we had a very costly defensive error and they countered with a shot that found the back of the net,” WHS coach Imad El-Macharrafie said. “You can’t make mistakes like that against the defending league champs.”
