The East Clinton reserve volleyball team defeated Lynchburg-Clay 25-7, 25-15 Wednesday night and improves to 3-1 on the year.

All the girls had a great game and were able to follow through with the team goals set prior to the match, coach Samantha McGraw said.

Gracie Evanshine had four kills, four aces, and three digs. Kiya Byrd had three kills, four aces and three digs. Jericka Boggs and Katrina Bowman had two aces each.

Gracie Boggs had two aces, a kill and a dig. Melina Noble, Lauren Hadley, and Lyndsey Kelly all had good games at the net, McGraw said, while Alexis Rolfe did well defensively.
