BATAVIA — Blanchester was defeated by Batavia 7-0 Thursday night in a non-league match at Batavia.

The Wildcats are 2-2 on the year while Batavia improves to 2-2-1.

BHS coach Troy Ballinger said his “defense was on patrol throughout the entire match but was eventually worn down in the second half.”

Wildcat goalkeeper Jake Fischer had 11 saves.
