BLUE ASH — Landmark Christian defeated Wilmington 2-1 Thursday in a non-league girls soccer match.

The Lady Hurricane is 2-2-1 on the year.

Coach Kerry Lewis said his squad played well and controlled play, especially in the second half.

“We consistently attacked their goal but missed too many opportunities,” Lewis said.

Autumn Housh, with assist to Katlyn Jamiel, scored in the first half to tie the match.

Landmark Christian scored the only goal in the second half to secure the win.
