Whitaker leads CM at Blan Invitational

BLANCHESTER — Clinton-Massie’s Jacob Whitaker battled near the top for part of Blanchester Invitational boys varsity race Wednesday on the BHS campus but fell off to sixth.

Whitaker, who finished in 18:48.42, was the top county runner and led the Falcons to a third-place team finish. Blanchester was fourth and East Clinton was eighth.

David Trivett was the first Wildcat runner to cross the line in 19:56.61 while Josh Jones led EC in 20:05.66.
