Blanchester 7th grade volleyball now 2-3 on the year

The Blanchester seventh grade volleyball team went 2-1 against Clinton-Massie, Clermont Northeastern and Wilmington in recent matches.

Against Wilmington, the scores were 25-9, 25-17.

Ainsley Whitaker had 10 points and six aces. Bekah Davenport had eight points and two aces. Hailey Mulvihill had six points, a block and a kill. Summer Schutte and Makayla Lanham had two aces each.

Against Clermont Northeastern, scores were 25-17, 25-23.

Mulvihill and Whitaker had eight points, two aces and one kill each.

Emma Falgner had four aces while Sarah Pell had two aces and one kill each. Schutte, Lanham and Davenport had one ace each. Mia Torres and Josie Wilson had digs to finish the match, coach Julie Mulvihill said.

Against Clinton-Massie, the young Ladycats were defeated 25-23, 22-25, 21-25.

Lanham, Mulvihill and Schutte had three aces each. Pell chipped in with two aces. Whitaker, Josee Wilson and Davenport had one ace each.

Blanchester is 2-3 on the year.
