LEES CREEK — The East Clinton Junior High School volleyball teams swept a pair of matches from Blanchester Wednesday evening.

The eighth grade Lady Astros came out on top 25-17, 21-25, 25-8.

Kiya Byrd had seven points, five aces, a kill and a dig. Riley Flint had seven points and four kills. Alexia Garen had five points and three aces. Katie Hayes had a kill. Camille Hughes had a point, a kill and a dig.

Myah Johns had three points, an ace and two digs. Reagan Landrum had three points, an ace and two assists. Rhyllee Luttrell had seven kills at the net. Emma Malone had eight points, an ace and a kill.

The seventh grade EC squad posted a 25-13, 25-21 win.

Gracie Evanshine had seven points, three aces, a kill and a dig. Holly Bernard had six points and an ace. Alexis Rolfe had four points and two aces. Jericka Boggs had four points and an ace.

Marci Ellis had three points and a kill. Katrina Bowman had three points, three aces, two kills and a dig. Gracie Boggs had a point and a kill. Braylynn Malone had an ace. Lauren Hadley had one kill.
