The Chayse Your Dreams fundraiser will be held 6 p.m. Oct. 10 at Ancil Dodge Auction Barn, 1975 Roxanna-New Burlington Road, Waynesville, for Clinton-Massie graduate Chayse Wolf.

The event includes silent and live auctions with food and bounce houses. To learn more, go to the Facebook page of Chayse Your Dreams and Chayse Your Dreams Fundraiser.

Wolf, an 18-year-old Wilmington resident, was a standout player on Clinton-Massie’s two state championship football teams. He had planned to attend Lindsey Wilson College and play football.

But in July he was injured in a all-terain vehicle crash in West Virginia, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Wolf is involved in rehabilitation at this time.

“I refuse to let this injury define me,” Chayse said. ” I realize now that God has a plan for my life that is far different than what I had.”

He is the son of Travis and EmmaLee Wolf. The money raised will help the family with the financial hardships due to his hospitalization and rehabilitation, and also the need to make changes to their home. Chayse also will need a vehicle or modifications for transportation, wheelchairs, braces and rehab equipment.
