Goshen upends Clinton-Massie volleyball in 3

GOSHEN – Unable to close out strong, the Clinton-Massie volleyball team lost to Goshen 25-21, 25-19, 25-13 Tuesday in Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference American Division action.

The loss puts the Lady Falcons at 4-3 overall and 1-2 in the American Division. The Lady Warriors are 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the league.

“Goshen served the ball really well,” CM coach Stephanie Reveal said. “Sets 1 and 2, we were right there, we just could not capitalize and put the ball away.”

Reveal said her squad still struggled with missed serves at crucial points.

Taylor Florea had five points, five kills, an ace and two digs. Cadin Reveal had four points, three kills, two aces and two digs. Faith Cottrell had four points, three kills and an ace. Maddie Enright had a kill and five digs. Kristina Hillman recorded six digs.

Ashlie Miller contributed three points and nine digs. Rylee Richardson chipped in with two points, seven kills and a dig. Tyler Greathouse posted a point, three kills and nine digs. Haley Conley 18 assists, two digs and a block.

The Lady have four home matches next week.
