Massie volleyball rallies to beat Bulldogs

ADAMS TOWNSHIP – The Clinton-Massie volleyball team rallied for an 18-25, 25-15, 27-25, 25-22 in an Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference American Division match at the Lebanon Road gym.

The victory puts the Lady Falcons at 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the division. The Lady Bulldogs are 4-7 overall and 0-4 in the league.

“We came out a little slow in set one; we had a lot of net violations because we were watching the ball and not getting set and ready for the block,” CM coach Stephanie Reveal said. “We did much better in sets two, three and four.”

Faith Cottrell had a good night at the net, Reveal said, and finished with 10 points, 10 kills, an ace and two digs.

Taylor Greathouse had five points, 12 kills, a assist, two aces while Rylee Richardson contributed four points, 13 kills, two digs and two blocks. Haley Conley had seven points, four kills, 34 assists, an ace, six digs and four blocks.

Cadin Reveal chipped in with 13 points, nine kills, an assist, five aces, two digs and a block. Taylor Florea had seven points, five kills, an assist, five aces, two digs and a block.

Maddie Enright recorded four points, a kill and six digs. Ashlie Miller had three points, 14 digs and a block. Kristina Hillman had 12 digs.
